In this article you will find:

For all customizations, click the "Online Store" tab in your Shopify admin, then click the "Theme" tab:

Then click "Actions" and "Edit Code":

Look for a file called "product-template.liquid" or "product.form" where your "Add To Cart" button is located:

Search for “submit” in order to find the "Add To Cart" button on the page then insert any code under the closing tag of the button for customizations:

 1. Remove ADD TO CART button from your Gift Card Product page:

Important:

  • Insert your Gift Card product title in the " " - e.g "Gift Card" instead of "Product title".
  • If there is no id for you ADD TO CART button, insert a product id using #product.id- instead of #AddToCart.

2. How to correct misplaced buttons.

If the button is not aligned properly:

If the buttons are to close to each other:

<style> .GiftWizard-gift-button {margin-left:10px !important}</style>

Important:

  • Correct any margin you need: bottom/top/right/left.

3. General eGift button Customization:

You can add classes and CSS to make the button look however you like.

Place this code right below your "Add To Cart" button.

This code will also fix any button related issues that are the result of a compatibility issue with your theme such as:

  1. Button changes to "Add to Cart" when a different variant is selected.
  2. Button is not aligned properly.
  3. Move button around the page.
  4. Broken button.

A problem which might appear in specific themes is misplaced purchase buttons. At the Gift Card product page, if the "Send As Gift" button isn't aligned with the "Add To Cart" button (the buttons touch each other).
